What happens after you order?
Products listed in the shop section of the website are usually ready-made and waiting to be delivered, with exception of some framed specimens. You will recieve a notification email saying your payment was successful, and a recap of what you have purchased. I will recieve a notification of your order too.
PLEASE ensure the address provided or attached to your PayPal account is the correct one, I only send parcels to the address recieved so I cannot be responsible for items lost in the post due to the wrong address being given.
How are Items Packaged?
• Jewellery and Accessories are lovingly packaged, and sent in a c5 letterbox-size corrugated cardboard box. Some items such as the terrarium necklaces, are sent in small jiffy bags.
• Fragile Products, Mounts and Framed Items are sent in an aptly sized corrugated cardboard box. The items are bubblewrapped, and surrounded tightly by biodegradable packing peanuts. (In the case of antlers, the antlers themselves will also be wrapped lovingly to protect them.) They will be labled clearly with FRAGILE stickers on the outside of the packaging.
Stoned Affection is happy to take requests for custom orders. If you require something special or different from the shop, and believe I can help you to bring it to life, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Through communication, we can both work producing the product. I have access to a wide variety of gemstones, charms, types of insects and small animal materials. Send me an email and we can discuss your ideas!
A fair few items sold at Stoned Affection, especially the mounts; are fragile and easy to damage. I would advise keeping them dry, well looked after and cared for. Try to keep jewellery featuring natural materials away from long periods of bright sunlight and strong perfumes as they will warp and lighten. Mounts and Framed Specimens should be displayed out of direct sunlight and moisture. Gemstones are absolutely fine to charge how you wish. Stoned Affection uses Paypal to carry out transactions. This covers most major card types i.e Visa, American Express, Mastercard etc.
Paypal also offers the option to pay through them even if you do not have a Paypal account. If you have any issues with this, please don’t be afraid to contact me by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You must pay for your item at the time of purchase. I do not accept cheques or concealed cash payment for orders.
All prices will be shown converted to your own currency during the checkout process. Currency rates are provided correctly and accurately at the time of purchase.

Privacy & Security.
Stoned Affection uses PayPal for all Payments. PayPal has an automatic encryption service that transfers you into a secure website as soon as you proceed into the Checkout area.
Choose your country in the Basket to add your basic shipping cost.
Basic postage in the UK is £3. Each additional item is 10p.
Basic international postage is £6. Each additional item is 10p.
When ordering Taxidermy or Entomology, please note an extra shipping cost will be applicable due to the weight, and added care taken to protect the fragile nature of the item. Medium/Large items are sent via tracked/signed for shipping as standard.
Stoned Affection is based in England, Uk. I post every Monday and Thursday; and more frequently during holiday periods. Here are estimations of the delivery times from this location:
• UK - 3 to 5 working days
• Europe - 5 to 15 working days
• USA and Canada - 5 to 15 working days
• Rest of the World - 5 to 28 working days
Due to the nature of some items, customs may require checking them, so please use the above as a rough guideline. Delivery within the UK.
Items are posted First Class Recorded Post. This ensures that you & I will know the location of your order in it’s delivery process.
Stoned Affection will personally email you after your item has been posted to let you know it’s on its way. If you request the tracking number, please reply to the confirmation email.
All items ordered from overseas are sent via Standard International Mail.
Stoned Affection will personally email you after your item has been posted to let you know it’s on its way. As they are sent via Standard International Post, there is no ability for tracking. If you wish to add tracking to your order, there is an option to add it to your basket before checkout HERE.
Replacements & Returns.
I package all items with love and care, however sometimes accidents can happen. If your item arrives to you in a broken or damaged state, please take a photograph and email it to email@example.com with your full name and order details.
I will try to resolve the problem in the best way possible.
I offer a repair service on insect frames at the cost of 1st class recorded postage back to myself, the item must be in the original packaging and sent securely. If the item returns in a worse state than the photograph originally sent, a solution will be discussed.
As most items are unique there are times when a replacement will not be available, however if possible will be at the cost of 1st class recorded postage back to myself.
Jewellery & Accessories can be returned within 30 days in the UK or 60 days International. The buyer must pay the return postage costs. When the item arrives safely, a refund will be issued. If you need to return an item, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and I will provide an address.
Stoned Affection does NOT accept returns of undamaged fragile items due to the possibility of damage in the post due to incorrect packaging methods.
Sometimes due to unknown reasons an item can go missing along the postal journey. I sent all UK mail via recorded delivery to avoid this happening. International items are different, tracking is an optional purchase which can be added to your basket before checkout. If you have not required tracking, and your item still has not arrived after 60 days, please email email@example.com with your full name and order details.
